Acropolis Studios uses leading-edge Computer Design software, 3D scanning systems, 3D Printing and CNC milling machines to compliment the artistic mastery of our hand artisan, providing unrivaled detail and precision in model making.

Realistic Photo Rendering allows visualization of finished products during early developmental stages, providing opportunities for less costly design decisions to be made at more economical pre-production benchmarks.

3D Printing

CAD files are individually built and processed in-studio for optimal print quality, specific to the project requirements. Our array of modern, 3D printers provides the size, materials and quality needed to maximize results for your project.

CNC Milling

Our in-house machines afford the ability to offer quick turnaround time. Acropolis Studios’ precision CNC milling features 3-axis milling, 4-axis rotary milling, indexed milling and precise double-sided milling.

3D Scanning

Acropolis Studios’ scanning service creates digital replication of existing 3-dimensional objects, allowing manipulation with CAD technology and refinement with delicate hand modeling.

Laser Cutting and Engraving

Utilizing an industrial grade CO2 laser, a wide variety of materials can be cut or engraved quickly and economically, providing cost effective solutions for short-run manufacturing or custom products. Traditionally difficult-to-engrave materials, such as granites, leathers, woods, ceramics and mirror, are precisely decorated with laser engraving.

Die Cutting and Embossing

Acropolis Studios’ computer driven die cutting and embossing equipment is precise and powerful. From the ability to reproduce razor sharp cuts in thin materials to embossing metals, in-house die cutting and embossing broadens the realm of product development and prototyping possibilities.

Classically trained in silversmithing and jewelry making, the skills of our traditional hand model maker provide the fine attention to details and artistic subtleties that distinguish an Acropolis Studios model and provide our clients with a superior final product.

Hand Model Making and Fabrication

Our talented and creative artist works to exacting manufacturing standards and tolerance to maintain design integrity, relying on decades of experience and refinement of traditional hand skills.

Prototyping

Acropolis Studios provides project prototyping services to compile a visual or functional product. The product prototype is executed in the actual materials and finishes that will be employed in the manufacturing process. Combining various manufacturing resources with the skills of bench artisans to produce stunning prototypes, customers can take advantage of marketing opportunities in advance of production release.

Sculpting

Combining traditional hand skills with our technological resources to create sculptural bas-relief and 3-dimensional models, Acropolis Studios comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and constraints allows for a smooth transition from model to production. Deliverables in durable materials, completely ready for reproduction.

Casting

Our casting capabilities include RTV, vulcanized, and metal molds to produce high-precision reproductions in a variety of materials and colors, including resins, epoxies, wax, and spin-cast, lead-free pewter. Brass and bronze lost wax cast as well as precious metal casting in silver, gold and platinum are also available.
